“Fellow party members and local government council chairmanship aspirants, I urge you to remain focused and committed to our shared vision of building an enviable local government across our state.

“As a former executive chairman of a council, I understand the challenges and distractions that can arise during this process. However, I implore you to stay true to your goals and avoid any actions that may jeopardize your chances of success,” he urged.

The APC scribe also assured the aspirants that the ruling party is desirous of having credible candidates in positions to bring about good governance:

“Our party’s desire is to have a local government that is efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of our people. To achieve this, we need dedicated and visionary leaders like you who can drive positive change and growth.

“So, let us work together to build a brighter future for our state. Let us shun distractions, stay focused, and strive for excellence in all that we do.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) is the ruling party in Lagos State and has been in control of the administration in a majority of the local governments and local council development areas in the state”, he said.
